At DAV Public School we cherish the opportunity to help cultivate each student’s God-gifted talents in all areas, including academic, social-emotional, spiritual, artistic, and athletics. Through our principles and dedication we continue to strive further to develop literacy and numeracy skills, to help each student as they pursue their own pathway. We work closely with students, staff, and parents to help our students face the challenges with a smiling face. In a surrounding when work and effort is valued, the child’s self-esteem is heightened, which results in self-motivation. We try to understand and work with each child, and we firmly believe that it is our responsibility to enable the child in our care to develop as a whole. Therefore, we lay special emphasis on both co-curricular and extra-curricular activities providing students an edge over others to be a leader in their respective field of activity.

To channelize the creative aspect of the child the school has been coming up with the school magazine ‘Spandan’ for the last two years. This is not just a means for a school to communicate its thought but it also highlights the success and achievement of its pursuits. It gives an insight to one’s thought and creativity through varied expressions. Our children have been able to leave their imprint in the path they have walked and also they have put life into the pages.

I am honoured and humbled to be the principal of this school. Our dedicated staff at DAV Public School , Kusunda serves approximately 2600+ students. In addition to the core curriculum, the school offers gifted and learning support services, reading support, speech and language support. Students experience daily instruction in the fields of art, music, physical education, library and technology for a holistic development.
